It has been such a long time since I have made a blog post and for once I can say that it was for a good reason. Just about everything in my life has now changed and hopefully all for the positive. It started off feeling like my world was turning upside down and I had no control of where it was heading but once I just let things go it had a way of falling right into place. I finally got my internet hooked up about an hour ago…. so here is my first blog post.
Life Is Ever Evolving
After the work disaster that I had in the middle of February, I now have a wonderful new position in a wonderful company. I just moved into a new home this past weekend and boy could that be a post all on its own! I have also moved to a new city! I have wanted to move to Birmingham for such a long time and now I am finally a resident of this wonderful city…. well technically I am a resident of Trussville but the way Birmingham gobbles up everything around it I can say Birmingham. Finally last but not least my beautiful baby has graduated from high school and will be starting college in only a few short months.
To say my life has been a whirl wind lately would be putting it mildly… It has been a bloody cyclone!
Now I Want to Go Out and Explore
One of the main reasons for the excitement about moving to Birmingham is that I have some amazing friends I have meet online and now will get to hang out with them….. lots! I hope you all don’t get tired of me! Unfortunately after the unexpected cost of moving (boy did we pick the worst weekend of the year to move) we will have to wait a little while to really start exploring our new home but it will happen soon enough.

I would love that list!! I also need a to know where to shop for awesome work clothes!….. oh and a family practitioner. It is amazing how much work it is to move to a new city! All of the place you knew where to find everything and where to go are no more lol. But I’m sure Birmingham has wonderful places to fill the space.
