Did You Know That I Love You! Yes, You!

So it is #bloglikecrazy day 9!

I admit it, I am feeling the ahhhhh! what do I write about bug. I let the internet suck me and spit me out today. I wanted to write about something witty, but all I can think about right now is how intolerant people are with each other. We can’t say we are open-minded and then in the same sentence be intolerant of those who have different beliefs. I think to truly be open-minded we have to stop trying to bully each other into thinking the same way we do, engage each other in debate, learn from each other and stop looking for things to get offended about. And for the love, stop making fun of people!!

Let’s truly love one another!

Let’s be excited by the beauty of the world and revel in the differences of each other. Really take the time to appreciate the culture and the religions of others, especially if they are different from our own. They are beautiful!!! Their ceremonies and traditions are BEAUTIFUL. And this is not a cut on mainstream religions, I for one think they are attacked and criticized on a daily basis and need to be protected just like all the others. Religion is not a sickness, it is not close-mindedness, it is not simple-mindedness, it is something that means the world to another person. It gets them through their day, it gives them something to live their lives by and no-one has the right to belittle or make fun of them or to try to take it away. It makes me so sad and disappointed when people treat others like they are stupid because they have faith in something besides just themselves or the visible world around us.

Beauty is Diversity

Just stop and truly take the time to enjoy the beauty and diversity that is our world! It would be a pretty sad place if we were all the same.
