It’s Thanksgiving Day and I am thankful for a lot of things…
My life is not perfect, sometimes far from it. We have money issues and stress at work, we fight from time to time and say things we shouldn’t but I wouldn’t trade my family or my life for anything.
They make it easier to get through the struggles and make me smile after a crappy day.
I have a husband who loves me and who will listen to me whine even when he is probably thinking I am full of shit. He is my lover and best friend.
I have a daughter who has such life and enthusiasm it is impossible for it not to be contagious. Who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
I have parents who have always been there for me and are the greatest example of who I want to be.
I have a sister who is definitely my best friend and I wish we could spend more time together. She has the drive and determination that I wish I had.
The other beautiful girl in that picture is my adopted daughter and I am thankful for the wonderful friend she is to my daughter.
My life and family isn’t perfect but it is perfect for me.

Not that scary a photo. Besides, it comes with the territory when you pose haha I am thankful for all my blessings from God….my life, my family, my friends and my health. People make me smile!

I had to say by way of reply, even though years later, that I am so thankful for all my awesome family as well. You all bring such joy into my life. All three of you girls are so beautiful and wonderful, you know who are you are, and are happy with yourselves, that means a lot to a parent, seems maybe we did something right. I know we are not perfect, but hey we have perfect kids. Life has been full because of you three and your dad, and my Jesus.
