The Challenge of Consistency and Finding Your Zen

The Challenge

One of my goals for this month is to complete #bloglikecrazy, a writing challenge I am participating in through See Jane Write. I am currently at day 5 of #bloglikecrazy and I am determined to make it through the month!

Consistency is Key

Consistency is one of my struggles with blogging and what better way to tackle that issue then to make myself blog 30 days straight. If I don’t go crazy from the challenge, I am guaranteed to be a stronger writer by the end. I will admit… I have missed one day because of a busy social schedule and poor prior planning, but I have faith I will finish strong!

Finding Zen

I am still finding my voice and my focus for my writing. I feel so strongly about staying true to myself so that I never stop enjoying blogging. I have a tendency to try to please everyone around me and in so doing end up ignoring myself. I am working on finding my zen, my balance between my happiness and the happiness of others.
I think by pleasing one’s self, you are better able to please others.

I Have Faith!

I have faith in myself though and I know that I will conquer this challenge. I will forever work at expanding my abilities and growing as a person. I think blogging and putting myself out there, meeting fellow bloggers and sharing their experiences will make me a better writer and person!

Wow, 30 days straight! I’m so impressed! I can barely scrape together two posts a week, haha! I admire your goal and think it’s a great idea to set goals like that. You can only grow from that experience and it has to feel good to accomplish it!

    1. It is tough and I probably won’t stick to 7 days a week after. But it is a great way to start a habit!

  2. I hope you accomplish all of your goals and enjoy the journey!

  3. You can do it!! I find it hard too – you will have to do a follow up with anything else you learn as you go through the 30 days!

  4. I so needed to read this right now. Thank you thank you! And wow, 30 days is impressive!
